Waiver of Liability

WAIVER OF LIABILITY

I hereby acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions as a prerequisite for my participation in the GameDev Summit (hereinafter referred to as the "Event"), organized by GameOps, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company"), to be held on 5-7 February 2025 at Boracay Island, Philippines:

1. Assumption of Risk:

I understand and acknowledge that participating in the Event may involve certain risks, including but not limited to physical injury of any degree, disability, trauma, mental, emotional, or psychological damage, property loss or damage, and other potential hazards, risks, experiences, losses, and dangers that may or may not be associated with a large-scale event. I voluntarily assume all such risks, dangers, hazards, experiences, dangers, injuries, damages, and responsibilities, both known and unknown, and understand that my participation is entirely at my own risk. In addition to this, I hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless the organizer, its officers, directors, employees, agents, volunteers, sponsors, representatives, and any other affiliated individuals or entities (collectively referred to as "Released Parties") from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, actions, causes of action, costs, and expenses, whether at law or in equity, arising out of or in connection with my participation in the Event. This release includes but is not limited to, claims for personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death.

2. Consent to Medical Treatment:

I hereby consent to receive medical treatment, at my own cost and expense, that may be deemed necessary in the event of illness, accident, or injury resulting from my participation in the Event.

3. Exclusion of Liability for Off-Event Activities:

I understand that my participation in the Event only covers activities and events officially organized and sanctioned by the Company within the designated Event venue(s). If I choose to engage in activities, convene, or visit locations within the Event venue(s) (but only accessible to authorized or allowed persons) or outside of the Event venue(s) independently, whether with or without other participants, speakers, or attendees, I acknowledge and agree that the Company and its Released Parties shall have no liability or responsibility for any incidents, injuries, or other issues that may arise during such off-Event activities. I assume full responsibility for my actions and well-being while participating in any off-Event activities, and I release the Company and its Released Parties from any liability related to such activities.

4. Governing Law:

This Waiver of Liability shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, and no foreign law shall apply in the application, interpretation, or jurisdiction of this Waiver of Liability.

I HAVE CAREFULLY READ THIS WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS CONTENTS. I AM AWARE THAT I AM WAIVING CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS BY AGREEING TO THIS DOCUMENT. I SIGN THIS WAIVER FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY BY CHECKING THE BOX, AND INTEND MY SIGNATURE TO BE A COMPLETE AND UNCONDITIONAL RELEASE OF ALL LIABILITY TO THE GREATEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW.
